Sporting a background that boasts the mastery of multiple motorsport disciplines, Chapman Ducote transitioned into the American Le Mans Series in 2007 in GT2, raced GT1 in the legendary DBR9 Aston Martin, and joined Intersport Racing`s LMP1 effort with an AER-powered Lola in 2009 with former Series champions Clint and Jon Field. Since 2009, Ducote has remained with the Intersport team and has continued to race Le Mans prototypes. 2012 will see Chapman once again in the driver's seat of the LMPC OREGA-FLM racecar, this year with numbers 7 & 8, along with Kyle Marcelli and Several drivers new to the car. Chapman's first appearance will be for the 60th annual 12 hours of Sebring for the American Le Mans Series [ALMS] and World Endurance Challenge [WEC] season opener. As with last year, Ducote has an eye to Europe and the Championship podium.
Chapman Ducote has raced karts, formula cars, IMSA Lites, GT cars in several series, Daytona Prototypes, and Le Mans prototypes. He already has 13 American Le Mans series podiums to his name, as he embraces his 6th season in ALMS and extends his career to the European and Asian circuits for Intercontinental Le Mans Cup races.
